BIO:

With 28 years of experience in the healing arts and 14 years as part of the SoderWorld family, Shannon Chada offers a seasoned and multidimensional approach to her work. Shannon, known as “The Energy Doula,” held in the Celtic tradition of Anam Chara, the soul‐friend, weaves energy medicine like reiki, aromatherapy, sound healing, cranial sacral therapy, and reflexology to create unique sessions that feel deeply ceremonial supporting emotional release, nervous system balance, and spiritual alignment.
Shannon’s work is shaped by her heritage as a Shawnee descendant of the Pekowi Division (Turtle Clan),
raised within the Stockbridge‐Munsee Mohican community in Wisconsin on and off the reservation, with Celtic, French, and Acadian ancestry also woven into her lineage. As a Cultural Keeper and Gaelic Grief Ritualist, the ancestral ways she carries are lived rather than performed, emerging gently in her grounding, her song, and the ceremonial essence that naturally shapes her healing work.

A Reiki Master Student since 1997, Reiki Teacher since 2000 and 8th‐generation descendant in lineage from Dr. Mikao Usui, Shannon has trained hundreds of practitioners and teachers throughout the Midwest. As an NCBTMB Approved Provider, she offers professional Continuing Education (CUs) for Professional
Bodyworkers & Holistic Practitioners — a distinction that sets her apart as a respected educator and mentor in the field. As a Vocal Alchemist, Singer‐Songwriter, and Chanter, Shannon often weaves voice, vibration, and frequency into her energy work, offering sound healings that meet emotion with both depth and uplift. A lifelong singer across diverse musical projects and bands — including serving as the lead vocalist for SoderWorld’s house band, Great Mystery — she carries an ancestral calling once held by the keening women who stood at the threshold between worlds, helping to release heavy emotional energy. Today, she weaves this threshold‐keeper role into her energy practice through intuitive vocalization that gently moves grief, overwhelm, and the many layers of feeling held in the body, creating space for release, softening, and the gentle return of inner light.

Shannon is the Founder of Full Circle Harmony, an Academy of Holistic Arts, partnering with SoderWorld to offer Reiki Trainings, Online Mentorships, and earth‐based holistic education. Her teachings invite students to awaken intuitive clarity, deepen spiritual connection, and engage with the natural energies that support transformation and reclamation. She also serves as Director of Culture & Spirituality for Red Road Reclamation and Communications Director for Homelands PowWow, two Native nonprofits supporting cultural return and community wellbeing. Shannon teaches nationally at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, The Center at Mariandale- immersive retreats in New York and Massachusetts, along with Reiki and Aromatherapy programs at College of DuPage and Rock Valley Community College. A 500‐hour yoga instructor, she blends breathwork, meditation, and somatic awareness into her sessions, creating a healing experience clients describe as grounding, compassionate, and deeply transformative — a space where the spirit remembers its wholeness.
