Making Healing Shifts Happen




Hi SoderWorld Friends,

Shannon Chada here! I would like to share with you a little bit on the power of shifting your perspective for healing. When you learn how to shift your perspective, you open yourself up to infinite opportunities to find happiness, fulfillment, and the courage take positive actions which can shift your life in the direction you desire.

How do we make that shift happen?

Well, all my greatest teachers never answered my questions directly. Ha! They pretty much offered to answer them with a posing question, which guided me inward to listen to the voice inside my heart. It is here, I would find the answer within myself.

I now pass this wisdom on to my Reiki and yoga students, along with all those I mentor as a Holistic Spiritual Practitioner at SoderWorld. This journey is yours. It is unique and true to you, therefore the correct or best answers can not come from someone else.

Here are five simple questions to help guide you to shift the way you're thinking, to open up to a more positive energy flow, and to invite a healthier outcome that is unique to you and your own path. Let your light shine and inner wisdom show you the way...

1. Discover what is True?

There are always more than side to things. There are many truths. Can you widen your lens to see a larger picture? Can you remove any illusions and expectations of what should be, or could be? Can you acknowledge the past without carrying it into the present? What is True right NOW?

2. What is my fear?

Discover what is under the surface. Asking yourself what you're really afraid of will help you face your truest fear. You may realize there are unfounded deeper fears that are keeping you from moving forward. Can you be honest with yourself about what may be coming up for you? This may help to bring forward the clarity needed to shift your mindset?

3. Can I Comfort Myself?

What advice would you offer your bestfriend? How would you comfort a child or a loved one? Don't you know that YOU deserve the loving kindness that you show others? Be gentle with yourself and offer reassurance to your own heart and mind.

4. What are my blessings?

What do you have to be grateful for? "When we experience positive emotions like joy, contentment, and love, you will see more possibilities in your life. Positive emotions broaden your sense of possibility and open your mind up to more options." - James Clear

5. What lifts me up?

What gives you hope? What inspires you? Is it music, books, dancing, singing, exercise, praying? Fill your mind and your life with a supportive environment, and with others who have a mindset like you'd like to have. Find your tribe - Community is also an important part of your conscious shift!


I would like to leave you with a special quote. I found it in an extremely unusual place, and at a very young age. My mom took me to my first Grateful Dead show when I was just 13 years old. This is where I discovered my tribe! Where the music moved my soul, the people were kind and generous, I felt empowered to shine the light of my true authentic self, and inspiration filled my heart that I could be an artist and an entrepreneur. It was here that the quote appeared, as I chose my first band T-shirt. It was a bright handmade swirling tie-dye with dancing Jerry Bears and the words screen printed on the back, sold by a beautiful, joyful, creative-soul in "the lot" of Soldier Field for only $5.00. It changed my perspective and my world forever.... Even 30+ years later, these words have been the brightest guiding light to help me serve others on their healing journey, as well the inspiration to discover my own highest healing-self.
